Pedagogy

My current teaching and learning related projects include:

  • Incorporating technical job interview concepts and questions into assessments (currently working on STA302H1)
  • Developing a suite of Python and R coding modules for undergraduate students within the Human Biology Program. A work in progress/proof of concept is available here: https://uoft-hmb-coding.github.io/
  • Developing new data science and biostatstics courses and curriculum for students in life science programs (currently developing HMB325H1)
  • Developing experiential learning and work-integrated-learning opportunities within my courses (Currently working on HMB342H1)

If you are a student (especially graduate students!) who is interested in the above projects, please reach out regarding opportunities to get involved in my pedagogy work!
